One person was killed in a shooting Thursday night in Kingston.

Police say they responded to a report of a shooting on Prospect Street near Green Avenue around 9:20 p.m.

Police at the scene found Dominique Green dead from a recent gunshot wound, according to authorities.

Authorities say the investigation is in its early stages.
