yesterdaySpring Valley and Clarkstown police say a man was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer on Monday.
The crash occurred on Route 59 near the Central Crossing Plaza.
Officers say when they arrived on the scene, the man was unresponsive and lying in the roadway next to a tractor-trailer. The man was hit while walking south across Route 59.
The victim has not yet been identified.
