yesterdayA 12-year-old girl is being hailed a hero for confronting a man who police say broke into her Ellenville home.
Detectives say 37-year-old Sergio Ulysee, of Ellenville, crawled through a window early Christmas Eve and went into a bedroom she was sharing with another girl.
She woke up and found Ulysee standing naked before she yelled and he took off.
They say a parent also woke up, grabbed a knife and ran after Ulysee before police picked him up.
Ulysee is facing a slew of charges and will be back in court on Tuesday.
