Police in Connecticut have made an arrest in the shooting of a 15-year old girl at a mall popular with Putnam and Dutchess county residents.
Officials say a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody Monday after turning himself in, accompanied by his parents.
Police say the shooting happened at the Danbury Fair Mall last Wednesday night.
The teenage girl was found inside the Macy's with a gunshot wound to her chest.
She was rushed to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators say it appears she was not the intended target.
