Two men accused of attempting to assault and rob a UPS driver in Montebello Saturday are facing hate crime charges, police say.
Authorities say the victim was driving his delivery truck on Spook Rock Road when the suspects threw a water bottle and attacked him while using racial slurs.
The duo then attempted to steal the keys to the vehicle, according to police.
Authorities say Yitzchok Zucker, of New City, and Moshe Pepper, of California, were both arrested following the incident.
