Two 14-year-old students were arrested after allegedly falsely reporting that there was an active shooter at Monhagen Middle School.
Police say the school went into lockdown Friday afternoon after a 911 call was made reporting an active shooter.
Once no threat was determined, the building went on with its normal schedule and school activities continued.
Both teens were released to their parents after being issued appearance tickets to appear in Orange County family court.
Police say both students will appear in court later this month.
