The incident began on Sept. 9 when the trooper responded to reports of people erratically driving dirt bikes and motorcycles near Village Hall.
Authorities say 26-year-old John Horton, of Connecticut, stole a hat from the trooper’s car and prompted a group of around 40 bikers to begin harassing him.
Police say he was arrested for assault, tampering with evidence and conspiracy.
The three new suspects arrested in connection to the incident are identified as 29-year-old Steven Hasbrouck, of Middletown, 26-year-old Naquan Eubanks, of Poughkeepsie, and 25-year-old Nicholas Johnson, of Beacon.
