Police: 4 arrested on weapons charges in Yonkers

Four men have been arrested for illegal possession of two handguns on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, according to state police.

Four men have been arrested for illegal possession of two handguns on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, according to state police.
Troopers say that on Sunday, they observed a BMW 440 traveling in excess of 100 mph on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The car was followed to Tuckahoe Road where a traffic stop was initiated. Investigation found two loaded handguns in the vehicle, a .380 Ruger LCP, and a 9 mm Smith & Wesson SD9 VE.
Jalen S. Irwin, 19, of Valley Stream, Deandre A. Bowen, 21, Kevin E. Hill, 21, Daijaun I. Jarvis, 20, all of Queens were arrested on a slew of charges -- including criminal possession of a weapon.
The four were remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail, $30,000 bond, or $45,000 partially secure bond.
They are scheduled to reappear before the court on Nov. 7.
