Poughkeepsie police responded to a disturbance call on North Bridge Street Sunday morning.

Police say 43-year-old Shanteek Gaines was arrested at the scene on domestic related charges.

According to police, the suspect resisted by fighting and biting officers.

Gaines was later arrested and faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest.
