New Windsor police say an Amazon employee was arrested on Sunday for slashing a coworker in New Windsor.
They say 27-year-old Loryn-Yael Gardner-Lawery, of Middletown, cut his coworker at the Amazon Distribution Center on Hudson Valley Avenue. The victim suffered a significant laceration to his neck, according to police.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital. He is in a stable condition and was treated for a nonlife-threatening injury, police say.
Police say Gardner-Lawery is facing multiple charges, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He is currently being held in Orange County Jail.
