Police say an arrest has been made stemming from a fatal hit-and-run in Ramapo last year.
The body of 52-year-old Miriam Sussman, of Monsey, was found dead in a wooded area adjacent to West Carlton Road on Nov. 28.
It was determined she was struck and killed by a vehicle, which fled the scene.
Sussman was last seen walking home from a religious event.
Ramapo police say an 18-year-old female from the Monsey area was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, which resulted in the death of another.
She was arraigned and released without bail.
Her name will not be released as she is eligible for youthful offender status.
