Mount Vernon police are asking for the public’s help locating a stolen car that contained a dog.
Authorities say the 2004 Honda Pilot was left running and unattended two weeks ago on West First Street. A suspect entered the vehicle and drove off.
The car and the dog have yet to be found. Police say the vehicle has a yellow New Jersey license plate.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact police.
