A pair of Kingston residents are facing charges for allegedly taking off during a traffic stop and drug possession.
State police say they pulled over Teeson Whitted in the Town of New Paltz.
When they asked him to get out of his vehicle, he refused and fled the scene, reaching 105 miles per hour when driving away from the police officers.
Whitted pulled the car over after a three-mile pursuit and was removed from the vehicle.
They say his passenger, Zmara King, had 52 grams of cocaine and 32 grams of fentanyl pills.
Whitted is charged with three misdemeanors and was issued 42 tickets.
King is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
