Police are looking for a man who they say stole credit cards from a car in Merrick Saturday afternoon.

They say the victim parked her car in a lot at Calhoun High School around 4 p.m.

Police say she locked the car with the purse inside, but the window was open.

When the woman got back to the car, she noticed the passenger side door was unlocked, and the three credit cards had been taken from her purse.

Detectives say the man used the cards at several stores.

Police are now asking anyone who recognizes him to give them a call.
