A father and his daughter were rushed to the hospital Tuesday after they were hit by an MTA bus.
Transit officials say the driver has been suspended and is receiving a standard drug and alcohol test after hitting the 57-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter while they were crossing at 178th Street and Webster Avenue.
Residents say they'd like to see the Department of Transportation put up more speed limit signs in the area to prevent a similar incident from repeating itself.
Police say the father and daughter were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital with serious injuries.
