Police ID man killed in Newburgh crash on Route 9W

The accident is under investigation, but there does not appear to be any criminality at this time.

Newburgh police have released the name of the man killed in a one-car crash earlier this week.
Police say 66-year-old Michael Tornatore, of Newburgh, was traveling southbound on Route 9W around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
It appears his vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, struck a guard rail and came to rest on an embankment.
He died at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh.
The accident is under investigation, but there does not appear to be any criminality at this time.
