Police have identified the victim in a fatal stabbing in Orange County.

Police say Nicholas Lacatena, 22, died on Sunday night near Maryland Avenue.

Police arrested 23-year old Eusten Coppin hours later for the murder.

Officers say they were flagged down by passengers inside a 2014 Acura who told them they needed help for Lacatena who had been stabbed in the chest.

Police believe the two men were involved in a fight that escalated when Coppin pulled out a blade.

Lacatena was rushed to Garnet Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
