A Saugerties woman faces multiple charges for allegedly resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

Police say they responded to a report of physical domestic abuse and found Christine Diliberto punching a man in a car.

They say Diliberto appeared highly intoxicated, attempted to kick out of the windshield and physically fought the officers attempting to take her into custody.

Diliberto was brought to jail without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 24.
