Police say a man was taken into custody after gunfire was reported in the town of Kent.

Police say they received a call Friday night about shots being fired at the Sunoco gas station on Route 52 and Ludingtonville Road.

Officers located a victim with a gunshot wound upon arriving at the scene, according to authorities. The victim’s identity and the extent of their injuries has yet to be released.
