Police: Man shot, injured at 176th Street, Weeks Avenue in West Bronx

A man was injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in the West Bronx. EMS responded to a call at 4:57 a.m. reporting a shooting at 176th Street and Weeks Avenue, near the Grand Concourse and north

A man was injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in the West Bronx.
EMS responded to a call at 4:57 a.m. reporting a shooting at 176th Street and Weeks Avenue, near the Grand Concourse and north of the Cross Bronx Expressway.
Authorities say the 27-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right side and was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital.
News 12 The Bronx was told that the victim's injuries are not fatal and that he is expected to be OK.
Police say the suspect fled the scene in a black SUV.
The cause of the shooting is still unknown and police have not yet made an arrest.
