Police: Peekskill man faces charges for armed robbery of store

A Peekskill man is facing charges in the armed robbery of a store on Wednesday night.
Police say they responded to 1014 Main St. after a panic alarm was activated just before 9 p.m. The store clerk told authorities that a man with a knife had just robbed the store.
It was unclear if the suspect fled or was still inside at the time. Police set up a perimeter and cleared the building.
