Teens robbed at knifepoint in Sunset Park

Suffolk County police say someone attempted to rob a Chase bank in West Babylon Friday afternoon.

A masked man entered the bank located on Sunrise Highway and handed the teller a note demanding cash just before 4 p.m.

The suspect left empty handed and fled the scene on foot, police say.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553.
