Police: Port Chester man charged with firing shot during Harrison road rage incident

Police say it began when a husband and wife reported a vehicle blocked theirs as they attempted to make a lane change on Westchester Avenue.

Harrison police say a Port Chester man has been charged with firing a gunshot during a road rage incident Wednesday.
Police say it began when a husband and wife reported a vehicle blocked theirs as they attempted to make a lane change on Westchester Avenue.
The victims said a car pulled alongside them and cursed and yelled racist derogatory remarks toward them.
At Purchase Street, the car pulled alongside them again and the driver pointed a loaded handgun at them - before driving off.
Jarrell Fortson, 35, was arrested outside his home.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and menacing.
