Police have released new details about a pedestrian who was killed in West Nyack.

Clarkstown police say 41-year-old Joseph Signorini, of Congers, was struck and killed by two vehicles Wednesday night on Route 303.

Authorities say Signorini was first hit while in the southbound lane and then struck again in the northbound lane.

News 12 has learned from people in the area that Signorini worked at Rockland Motors and was crossing Route 303 to get to his car when the incident occurred.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact Clarkstown police at 845-639-5800.

This marks the second time someone was hit and killed by a car on Route 303 in just as many months.

William Huertas, 45, of Haverstraw, died in Orangeburg on Dec. 13, according to Orangetown police.

That incident is about 4 miles south of Wednesday night's incident in West Nyack.
