Police: Saugerties man arrested in connection to 2022 Mount Marion Park explosion

6h agoPolice arrested a Saugerties man in connection to an explosive device being used last year.
Officers say they arrested 26-year-old Tyler J. Brinkhuis, of Saugerties, before 3 p.m. on June 7.
The arrest came following an investigation into a report of an explosion in Mount Marion Park that happened in October 2022.
Police found Brinkhuis was responsible for throwing an explosive device onto the front lawn of a victim's residence, which created a large hole in the yard.
