A 2-year-old Bronx boy was found dead inside an Albany Crescent apartment building Thursday in what police believe may have been a tragic accident.Police found Anthony Pena around 5:30 a.m. unconscious in his family's apartment and EMS pronounced the boy dead at the scene. Sources tell News 12 The Bronx it appears that after being put to bed Wednesday night, the toddler was playing hide-and-seek with his 6-year-old brother and 4-year-old sister. Police say the toddler may have climbed into a plastic toy chest to hide and suffocated.A next-door neighbor says he heard the boy's mother crying and screaming. Shortly thereafter, he says police arrived and started their investigation.The parents of the toddler were questioned by police and later released. No charges have been filed.
