A manhunt is underway for a man who opened fire this morning outside the Yonkers Police Department Headquarters on South Broadway.
Witnesses say a male suspect approached a parked car around 11:45 a.m. and fired two rounds.
The person believed to be the target managed to jump out of the car and flee into the nearby Yonkers City Court building.
Detectives say there's no immediate threat to public safety.
The suspect remains at large.
