Police: Sloatsburg man accused of plotting to assault, rob local business employee

A 42-year-old Sloatsburg man has been accused of plotting to assault and rob a local business employee, according to police.
Authorities say Roberto Astacio recruited other people, including one juvenile, to execute the plan.
They also say Astacio was on parole for similar felonies.
He is charged with conspiracy, criminal solicitation and endangering the welfare of a child.
