Police: Town of Ulster man accused of murdering female friend

The female victim was found Thursday morning in a wooded area off Eastern Parkway.

A Town of Ulster man has been charged with murder.
The Ulster Police Department identified him has Johnny Amaro.
The female victim was found Thursday morning in a wooded area off Eastern Parkway.
A few hours before she was found, police responded to a 911 call for a suicidal male on the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge.
Police say Amaro was threatening to jump off the bridge but was pulled to safety.
Ulster Town police describe the relationship between the victim and suspect as friends.
The name of the victim and cause of death as well as a motive have not been released.
