Police: Wappingers Falls man arrested for sexually abusing victim under 11

Authorities say Marc H. Santoro, 54, has been charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

A Wappingers Falls man has been arrested for sexually abusing a victim under the age of 11, according to state police.
Authorities say Marc H. Santoro, 54, has been charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
After receiving a law enforcement tip, investigators say they determined Santoro sexually abused a victim under the age of 11.
Santoro was arraigned before the village of Wappinger Falls Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, $30,000 bond or $60,000 partially secure bond.
He is scheduled to be back in court on March 20.
