Yonkers police say a woman was shot in the area of Ritters Lane and Whelan Road around 4 p.m. Saturday.

The woman is believed to be in her 20s. She was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Yonkers police are actively investigating the weekend shooting.
