A new initiative to vaccinate more people against COVID-19 is taking off at Westchester County Airport.
Westchester County Airport is one of seven airports statewide offering the Johnson & Johnson shot to New Yorkers and non-state residents.
The goal is to make access to the vaccine even easier because despite all the incentives, supply continues to outpace demand in the state.
This site targets travelers similarly to last week's MTA station pop-ups, which were aimed at commuters.
County officials hope people will take advantage of this opportunity on the way to their next destination.
No appointment is needed, and the site will operate 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through Friday this week.
