A Poughkeepsie High School senior has earned a full scholarship for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology next year.

Elijah Johnson, 18, will attend MIT on a full scholarship. He is one of 1,600 kids nationwide to win the Questbridge Match Scholarship. 

“I’m very grateful I had the opportunity to apply there. I’m very grateful for all the people that helped me with my application, and I encourage a lot of kids, just like me, in the same boat, low-income kids that want to get ahead, to apply to Questbridge,” said Johnson.
