There is currently a
mad dash across the Hudson Valley as congressional candidates try to win their
respective primaries in what has become a free-for-all after the state's
highest court upheld a decision to reject the congressional maps drawn by the
democratically controlled Legislature, which called on a special master to
hastily redraw the maps before the upcoming Aug. 23 primary.
In the end, there
were a lot of winners and losers who are now scrambling to keep their jobs or
have the voters give them new ones.
Scott McGee is joined
by former Democratic state Sen. David Carlucci and former Republican Rockland
County Executive Scott Vanderhoef to discuss the new maps and the congressional
races in the Hudson Valley.
