There are hundreds of races taking place across the Hudson Valley in this year's Midterm Election.

News 12's 'Vote 2026' election preview show covers the biggest candidates and issues you're voting on.

In Congress, we're watching the races in New York's 17th District between Republican Rep. Mike Lawler and Democrat Cait Conley. In New York's 18th District the race is between Democrat Rep. Pat Ryan and Republican Jackie Auringer, and in New York's 16th District, between Rep. George Latimer and Republican Joseph Cinquemani.

There are three statewide races: The Governor's race between incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul and Republican Bruce Blakeman; Attorney General between incumbent Democrat Letitia James and Republican Saritha Komatireddy; and Comptroller between incumbent Democrat Tom DiNapoli and Republican Joseph Hernandez.

There are plenty of other races to watch, including state legislature, town supervisors and county boards of legislature.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
