The Democratic National Convention in Chicago has wrapped up. Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz officially secured the party's nomination with just over 2 months to go before Election Day.

Beyond the main stage speeches that dominated airwaves across the country, there were plenty of local politicians in attendance who had a lot to say about the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. News 12 Senior Reporter Tara Rosenblum spent days catching elected officials and pressing them on the topics most important to the state and the Hudson Valley.
Traditional politics took over the main state throughout the entire week at the Democratic National Convention as politicians and guest speakers rallied their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's nominations. There was another major political debate in Chicago that everyone weighed on.
