A youth program is working to give Bronx teens who have had trouble with the law a second chance.
Bronx Connect places at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 18 with positive mentors, such as church leaders. The program?s director says many of the program's participants have served time in a nearby detention center.
Bronx Connect hopes to get additional state funding to help more young people than the 30 or so it currently serves.
