Prosecutors: Dobbs Ferry man sentenced to 6 years in prison for 2023 assault of teens

A Dobbs Ferry man was sentenced to six years in prison for assaulting two teenagers.

Prosecutors say 63-year-old Vincent Pappas pleaded guilty to the assaults that happened in 2023.

Investigators say he followed two 15-year-olds into a restaurant on Main Street where he yelled at them and repeatedly punched one of them in the face.

He also pushed the second victim through the glass storefront window.

During the attack, investigators say Pappas said he hated people from Guatemala and would kill the victim if he did not leave the country.

One victim was hospitalized for a collapsed lung, a cervical spine fracture and multiple lacerations.

The other victim was treated for head swelling an other injuries.
