Students at a Throggs Neck school have a new and improved library, thanks to Target.
P.S. 14 on Bruckner Boulevard was chosen as one of the schools in Target's School Library Makeover Program. The program, in partnership with The Heart of America and Major League Baseball, helped revamp the school's library.
The library got 2,000 new books, plus 25 iPads and a smart board for interactive projects.
The school's librarian, Ms. Polanco, is the one responsible for the makeover, as she is the one who submitted the school to Target.
