The PSAL football playoffs kick off Saturday with Midwood taking on John F. Kennedy in a rematch of last year?s first round.
The JFK Knights, the highest-ranked Bronx public school team, is a sixth seed. The Knights are hoping for a home field advantage this year after losing to Midwood, the 11th seed, in 2006 on the road.
JFK center Darrin Prince tells News 12 The Bronx Sports that his team has to move the ball on every down, and score on every drop in order to come out on top. ?Every step counts,? he says.
