Travelers can expect to pay slightly more on gas this holiday season.

Nationwide prices fell to a yearly low of $3.06 per gallon Thursday. However, the prices are staring to inch up with a new average of $3.12.

The average cost statewide has reached $3.39. The average in Westchester is $3.63. It is $3.56 in Rockland County, and $3.43 in Putnam County.

AAA says mild fluctuations in gas prices are expected during the holiday season.
