Purchase College alumni and faculty made a significant impact at the Grammy Awards, with several notable wins.
Jazz Studies alum Samara Joy, who previously secured two awards last year, added another accolade to her collection this year for best jazz performance.
Nicole Zuraitis, lecturer of Jazz Studies at Purchase College, received the award for best jazz vocal album for "How Love Begins."
Assistant  professor of music Silas Brown was recognized for his contribution to the field, winning the award for best classical engineered album for "Contemporary American Composers."
