The Putnam County Sheriff's Office, alongside the Carmel and Kent police departments, unveiled plans to join the "High Visibility Engagement Campaign."

Collaborating with Stop DWI, the initiative aims to raise awareness about the perils of impaired driving, coinciding with the surge in travel and gatherings during the Thanksgiving season.

The campaign will run from a day before Thanksgiving until Nov. 26.
