Putnam County man sentenced for killing father

A Putnam County man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing his father.
Louis Weber IV pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the first degree and arson.
The Putnam DA's office said that Weber killed his father in November 2019 and then set the house in Philipstown on fire.
He was arrested a year later.
Weber was also sentenced to three to nine years on the arson charge.
That sentence will run concurrently with the manslaughter sentence.
He was also sentenced to five years’ probation.
