A Putnam County resident is heading to Florida to help the state recover from the effects of Hurricane Sally.
Jaclyn Sullivan, who is volunteering with the Red Cross, says she will be working in a shelter to inform residents on what will be going on there.
"Just providing comfort for them while they are outside of their home in a place they never really have been before," Sullivan says.
Sullivan is expected to be in Tallahassee for two weeks.
