The Putnam County Youth Bureau announced on Friday the expansion of the county's Teen Driving Court.

The Teen Driving Court is a diversion program, which creates a courtroom experience to educate young drivers who have recently received traffic violations.

An agreement with Philipstown Justice Court will allow ticketed drivers the opportunity to address their behavior before a courtroom of their peers.

The expansion will allow drivers assigned specific restorative recommendations to make amends for their actions.
