Fans came out to celebrate the Rockland Boulders opening day at Provident Bank Park.
Workers prepared for an influx of fans who couldn't be kept away by the rain.
News 12 spoke with one fan who said he's been to a lot of places with independent baseball, but that there is no place like Provident Bank Park.
The Rockland Boulders had a 49-52 record last year.
Friday marked the beginning of a seven-game homestand at the stadium, the longest of the season for the team.
