News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see rain throughout Friday and scattered showers are expected for Mother's Day.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- After we had highs into the 80s on Wednesday, temperatures have come back down to normal levels with highs into the 60s.
- Clouds will thicken and rain showers move in over the course of the overnight hours. Friday is off to a soggy start.
- Steady rain is around through the first half of the day with spotty to scattered showers for the second half. The whole day will be feeling like late March.
- There is a brief lull in shower activity Saturday morning before scattered showers return for the afternoon hours.
- Expect mostly cloudy skies and a steady rain chance during Mother’s Day.
