Two women in Rockland County are accused of allowing kids to drink at parties.
Town of Ramapo officers first went to a home in Montebello for a report of a noise complaint and underage drinking.
They arrested a 61-year-old who faces charges for endangering the welfare of a child, criminal nuisance and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage to an individual under the age of 21.
Later the same night, officers went to a home in Airmont for a similar call and charged a 38-year-old woman with the same offenses.
"We here at Ramapo PD would like to remind everyone that we have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY when it comes to underage drinking,” the department posted online. “If you host an underage drinking party, you are subjecting yourself to arrest. There are several NYS Penal Law Misdemeanor charges that you can face as a result of this as well as several NYS Alcohol Beverage Control Law Violation.”
