Hudson Valley voters hit the polls Tuesday to cast their primary ballots.
Incumbent Ramapo Town Supervisor Chris St. Lawrence won both the Republican and Democratic primaries. St. Lawrence, who was endorsed on both party lines, defeated both Democrat Bruce Levine and Republican Robert Romanowski in the respective races.
In Putnam County, Donald Smith won the Republican nomination for sheriff over Jim Borkowski.
